This is a limited edition wood engraving carved from an end-grain block of boxwood. The image is a boxwood bonsai in the Bonsai Collection at the North Carolina Arboretum, with the distant Blue Ridge Mountains and a field mouse for scale. A boxwood cut from boxwood!
Each print is hand pulled from a vintage letterpress printing press in my studio nestled in the mountains of Asheville, NC.
The block is approximately 6"x7" printed on 9"x12" Mohawk Superfine paper. This is an edition of 65 prints; each print is numbered and signed. Ships flat, unframed, in a protective sleeve.
