I evacuated from Asheville two days after Hurricane Helene hit; I live in the Swannanoa Valley and even though my home and family were safe, we were quickly running out of food and drinking water. I stayed with family in NC for four weeks and during this time saw images of the destruction the hurricane and flood left behind; things I couldn't see while in Asheville because so many roads were blocked by downed trees, power lines, and debris, and bridges near my home were too damaged to cross.

After scrolling through the constant feed of images of devastation to my beloved town, I searched back into some of my favorite photos of Asheville for cheering up. I found this one of me and my son Milo from 2016, of one of my favorite scenes in the River Arts District; a reminder that Asheville is built on Good Vibes (mural by @IanThePainter).

This print is to remind us of better days in Asheville, and to keep spirits alive for many more to come.

This is a limited edition relief engraving carved from Corian. Each print is hand pulled from a vintage letterpress printing press in my home studio in the Appalachian Mountains in Asheville, NC.

The block is 3"x5" printed on Mohawk Superfine paper trimmed to 5"x7". This is an edition of 40 prints; each print is numbered and signed. Ships flat, unframed, in a protective sleeve.
