You Are The Everything
You Are The Everything
This song reminds me of a cross-country road trip I took the summer I turned 23, just me, my dog Buddy, a tent, and a sleeping bag. These lines about the stars makes me think of the night we camped out somewhere in Oklahoma when I really saw the Milky Way for the first time.
This is not that scene, of course, but a composite of the view from my kitchen window in the Swannanoa Valley and a view from the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway (which I can see from the front the front porch). The purple misty glow we get sometimes during a sunset is always so soothing.
